The National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania

The real problem of blindness is not the lack of eyesight. The real problem is the misunderstanding and lack of information which exist. If a blind person has proper training and opportunity, blindness is only a physical nuisance.

The National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania (NFBP) is a state affiliate of The National Federation of the Blind and works to enable those who cannot see to live full and independent lives, just like people who can see.

Help Make a Difference

Your tax-deductable gifts to the NFB of Pennsylvania will help blind and visually-impaired people across the state, including children at our school for the blind, students in all levels of education, adults trying to attain employment, veterans injured defending freedom, and people losing their vision due to age-related conditions. Please help us to teach blindess-related skills to those who are struggling, to advocate for blind children who are not getting the education they need and deserve, and to encourage those who are overcoming the challenges of blindness every day. The NFB of Pennsylvania 2011 State Convention Was held Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13 near Harrisburg in Middletown, PA. Audio recordings from the convention will soon be available. Check the convention information page for more information.
