The real problem of blindness is not the lack of eyesight. The real problem is the misunderstanding and lack of information which exist. If a blind person has proper training and opportunity, blindness is only a physical nuisance.
The National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania (NFBP) is a state affiliate of The National Federation of the Blind and works to enable those who cannot see to live full and independent lives, just like people who can see.
The NFB of Pennsylvania 2011 State Convention Was held Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13 near Harrisburg in Middletown, PA. Audio recordings from the convention will soon be available. Check the convention information page for more information.
