Conventions occur annually at the state and national level. Seminars are held during the conventions to introduce new technologies, to present new developments in various fields, and to discuss blindness-related issues. Prominant venders frequent the conventions to allow hands-on interaction with their products, to provide training, and to introduce new features and models. Many organizations attend the convention as presentors, vendors, trainers, or just to interact with their patrons and clients.
